The Mission in Motion

See how Christ In Action lives out its calling — preparing, deploying, and bringing hope to communities in crisis through hands-on service and heart-led ministry.

The Christ In Action Story

Discover how a simple calling grew into a nationwide ministry of hope.

What began as a small church outreach has become a ministry on mission — bringing Christ’s love to families in crisis across America and around the world. This short film shares the story behind Christ In Action’s beginnings, its faithful growth, and the countless lives touched along the way. You’ll see how obedience, prayer, and compassion have shaped a legacy of service that continues to shine His light after every storm.

Building Hope: A Story of
God’s Provision

How faith, prayer, and partnership made a home for the mission.

For years, Christ In Action searched for a place to call home — a permanent headquarters to equip volunteers, store relief supplies, and coordinate deployments. What began as a $4.1 million building plan became a story of God’s miraculous provision.

Through divine timing and generous hearts, CIA acquired a 40,000-square-foot facility and six acres of land — completely debt-free. Volunteers, donors, and partners came together to renovate, restore, and transform the property into a base of hope.

As Founder Denny Nissley shares, every nail, every prayer, and every dollar reflects the faithfulness of God and the people who make this ministry possible.

Experience a Day at Camp Hope

From sunrise to lights out, see what it’s like to live and serve at Camp Hope.

When disaster strikes, Camp Hope becomes the heartbeat of every deployment — a place where service meets faith, and long days begin and end in prayer. This short film takes you behind the scenes of a typical day on deployment, from early morning meal prep to lights out after a full day of relief work. You’ll see volunteers cooking, worshiping, serving in the field, and returning home tired but thankful — united by one mission: to bring the hope of Christ to those who need it most.

Whether it’s clearing debris, cooking meals, or offering a prayer to a survivor, every task is an act of ministry. Watch this video to understand how we prepare, serve, and stay mission-focused—together—when crisis strikes.

The Pentagon Relief Effort – A Sacred Response in a Time of Unthinkable Loss

Experience how light broke through the darkness as Christ In Action responded to one of our nation’s darkest days—serving at the Pentagon in the wake of 9/11 with faith, compassion, and courage.

When the unthinkable happened on September 11, 2001, Christ In Action answered the call to serve. Within hours of the attack on the Pentagon, volunteers mobilized to feed, comfort, and pray with first responders, military personnel, and grieving families.

Amid the devastation, a tent city rose from the ashes—a place of warmth and hope where weary workers found rest and renewal. For weeks, the Red Shirt Family served over 55,000 meals, stood shoulder to shoulder with those carrying the weight of a nation’s grief, and reminded all who gathered there that Christ was present, even in the darkest days.

This short film reflects on that sacred mission—where faith met tragedy, and the love of Christ turned heartbreak into healing.

Global Expansion: K180 London

See how Christ In Action’s calling grew beyond U.S. borders—igniting a movement to share the Gospel across Europe.

Born from a divine encounter and a shared passion for street evangelism, K180 began in London through the partnership between Martin Durham and CIA’s founder, Denny Nissley. What started as one man stepping out in faith became a ministry training and equipping young evangelists to boldly proclaim Christ throughout Europe.

This short film takes you inside K180’s mission—where leaders are raised, hearts are turned toward Jesus, and the next generation of believers are equipped to bring the Gospel to the nations.

Stories from the Field

Every deployment tells a story — of heartbreak met with hope, of strangers becoming family, and of faith lived out in action. In this video library, you’ll find moments that capture the heart of Christ In Action: volunteers serving shoulder to shoulder, survivors finding comfort in prayer, and communities rising again after disaster.

These are more than stories of recovery — they’re stories of redemption, resilience, and the love of Christ at work through His people.
