KY Tornadoes - Elezene's Story

Scottie Holbrook and his 90-year-old mother, Elezene Holbrook, resident of Salyersville, KY, share their story of going through the unexpected tornado.

On March 2, 2012, an EF-3 tornado swept through Salyersville, KY, destroying $50 Million worth of businesses, homes and property.  Christ In Action, partnered with Praise Assembly (Prestonsburg, KY), has been asked by Mayor Pete Shepherd of Salyersville, KY, to join with city and Magoffin county road crews to assist in cleaning up the city. Christ In Action is pleased to work alongside the people of Salyersville and do what we can to provide assistance and bring hope to these families and communities.
