Lancaster, PA Flooding - Trailer Park Video Report

Following Tropical Storms Katia and Lee, the Susquehanna Valley in Pennsylvania saw the worst flooding since Hurricane Agnes in 1972. Christ In Action Project Leader, Daryl Stoltzfus organized nearly 100 volunteers from the surrounding areas and Virginia into teams that worked in areas of West Earl Township, Manheim Township and Ephrata. Much work was done in Conestoga Manor Village, a trailer park in Leola, PA, where residents were evacuated as the water rose.  Some trailer homes were condemned, while others required removal of the insulation from beneath for closer inspection.  Days of muddy work were required to help restore a sense of normalcy and bring hope where it was needed most.
