Mike & Karen Kilmer

Mike and Karen, originally from Lancaster County, Pa moved to Virginia in 2015 to work as full-time missionaries with Christ In Action. They have 4 children. Ashley is married to Ben Wenger and they have given Mike and Karen 5 grandkids. Andrew recently married Rosena and the youngest 2 are Tyler and Kensie.

Mike was introduced to Christ In Action when he hauled houses for our “Homes For Haiti” project in 2010.  From there, Mike's interests in working with Christ In Action grew as he volunteered with deployments at various disasters. Mikes primary roll today is maintaining our fleet and equipment, and leading teams on deployments, while Karen is the Christ In Action cook feeding the staff, volunteers, and residents when CIA deploys. She also leads morning worship times and helps with assessments when possible.
