Aaron & Sonja Degerstrom

Aaron and Sonja Degerstrom currenly live in Dresser, WI where they have livesd for the last 18 years raising their two sons, Austin and Hunter. Austin is in the Airforce ROTC at St. Thomas University with plans to become a pilot. Hunter is finishing a tech school with construction and cabinetry. The Degerstrom family attends and serves at Osceola Community Church.

Aaron has worked in the construction industry for the last 2 decades as a finish carpeter formean and cabinet maker. He also served on the board for Valley Chrstian Scool, coached hockey, and helped lead many youth mission trips across the country. Sonja received a BA in youth and family ministry and a minor in counseling. She spent 10 years working in the church as a youth and family Pastor. Subsequently she ran a private K-12 School, Valley Christian, while also teaching JH and HS Bible classes. Currenly she serves with Samaritans Purse as the Regional Manager for Operation Christmas Child, Upper Midwest Region.

Aaron and Sonja first served with Christ In Action in Kentucky, after tornadoes hit in December of 2021. They volunteered with a team from their church in January of 2022. At that time they felt the Lord calling them to continue serving his Kingdom through Christ In Action. He has been preparing and equipping them both for full time missions work with CIA.
